Asian Markets Briefing 08/03/2023

The Asian markets witnessed a drop in most of its indices, due to the indices drop worldwide this week. The Chinese main index Shanghai Composite (SSEC) dropped by -0.06 percent to close at 3,283.25. The index opened at 3,271.88 and recorded a day high value of 3,283.25 and a day low value of 3,263.69.

The Japanese index Nikkei 225 (N225) climbed by 0.48 percent to 28,444.19. The index had an opening value of 28,237.21, recording a day high value of 28,469.41 and a day low value of 28,232.68.

Hong Kong’s main index (HSI) fell drastically by a percentage of -2.35 percent to close at 20,051.25. The recorded an opening value of 20,256.89, a day high value of 20,269.93, and a day low value of 19,969.47.
