Asian markets briefing 21/04/2023

The Asian markets closed low on Friday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, falling drastically by -1.95 percent. The index lost 65.77 points to close at 3,301.26. It recorded a day high value of 3,367.61 and a day low value of 3,301.26.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, dropped by -0.33 percent to 28,564.37, losing 93.20 points. The index recorded a day high value of 28,778.37 and a day low value of 28,527.80.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, fell by -1.57 percent and lost 321.24 points. The index reached a closing value of 20,075.73, recording a day high value of 20,378.90 and a day low value of 19,974.91.
