Asian markets briefing 25/05/2023

The majority of the Asian markets closed low on Thursday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, dropping by -0.11 percent to 3,201.26, losing 3.49 points.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, soared by 0.39 percent and gained 118.45 points to close at 30,801.13.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, fell by -1.93 percent and lost 369.01 points to reach a closing value of 18,746.92.
