The Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit (BDAC) said its micro-finances will be offered to more governorates.
Mohsen El Batran, chairman of BDAC, said the bank is currently offering these finances to four governorates namely; Fayoum, Beni Suef, Qalioubia and El Behira and intends to expand in Minya and Sharkia by next week.
The bank has set a strategy to expand its services in two governorates monthly; one in the north and another in the south of the country, he added.
As part of the bank’s efforts in meeting the customers’ needs, the bank will provide sharia-compliant micro-finances, in which the bank will participate in the productive process through offering fertilizer, pesticides and animals’ foods, El Batran added.
