Blom Bank Eyes CBE’s Licence to Launch 3 More Branches in 2015

Blom Bank Egypt is seeking to obtain the central bank’s approval to inaugurate further three new branches within next year, managing director Mohamed Ozalp told Amwal Al Ghad.

Every September, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) receives the banks’ requests to open up new branches.

Ozalp further referred that Blom Bank Egypt has the licence to open up four new branches, including two by the end of the current year and two others before the end of first quarter of 2015.

Blom Bank has around 28 branches nationwide, he noted, expecting that the bank would get larger network of branches to reach 35 within 2015.
