Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has sworn in a new government Wednesday after a limited reshuffle move.
The presidency also introduced one new cabinet portfolio: a ministry of business sector led by former market regulator, Ashraf El-Sharkawy.
Sherif Ismail’s government has appointed new ministers namely;
The following are names of the newly-appointed ministers:
1- Minister of Transport, Galal El-Saeed; He was a Cairo governor.
2- Minister of Investment, Dalia Khorshid, from Orascom Construction.
3- Minister of Antiquities, Khaled El-Anany.
4- Minister of Finance, Amr Garhi; he was former chairman of National Investment Bank.
5- Minister of Tourism, Yehia Rashed.
6- Minister of Irrigation, Mohamed Abdel Aaty.
7- Minister of Manpower, Mohamed Mahmoud Saafan.
8- Minister of Judge, Mohamed Hossam Ahmed Ali.
9- Minister of Civil Aviation, Sherif Fathi; he was former chairman and CEO of EgyptAir.
10- Minister of Business Sector, Ashraf El-Sharkawy; a former chairman of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).
