Builders of Egypt 2023 reviews Saudi giant projects to maximise Egyptian companies’ shares

The Builders of Egypt Forum 2023 that launched on Sunday showcases the opportunities for existing projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and clarifies the Kingdom’s directions to support partnership mechanisms between Egyptian companies.

The Egyptian market contracting sector has been experiencing a significant boom in recent years, as several contracting companies are also eligible to implement the Kingdom’s strategy, said Zakaria Al-Abdul Qader, president of the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA).

The meeting also reviewed the most prominent projects currently available and financing mechanisms as well as the ways of supporting Egyptian companies to participate in larger business quotas in the Kingdom over the coming years.

The forum also tackled the region’s comprehensive development schemes and the map of major projects, with a view to enhancing opportunities for Egyptian construction companies to participate in construction projects abroad.
