Builders of Egypt IV Forum will be held on March 4, 2018, under the patronage of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail in addition to a number of other ministers, a press release said Sunday.
The forum will review the economic and financing prospects for governmental and private projects, in light of the investment environment’s development after the implementation of the economic reform program and major national projects over the last four years, according to the release.
The forum will host government representatives and delegates from the construction, real estate development, project management, and building materials sectors, according to the Builders of Egypt’s statement.
The release added that Minister Mustafa Madboli discusses with the participating contracting companies their ability to implement the national projects, and to develop a strategy to organize the Egyptian construction companies and developers to invest in the upcoming projects.
Chairman of the Egyptian Federation of Construction and Building Contractors, Hassan Abdel Aziz, said that the volume of business opportunities will witness expansions during the upcoming years. Abdel Aziz clarified that the business volume of contracting companies achieved LE 200 billion in cooperation with the government sector during 2017.
He added that the sector is expected to double over the next four years, supported by existing business opportunities in the new cities and large investments in infrastructure aiming to attract foreign investments.
