Cairo Chamber of Commerce (CCC) received Friday a delegation from Iraqi Businessmen Union Basrah (IBMU) to discuss means of enhancing trade and investment relations between two states within the coming period. The mission was headed by IBMU’s Chairman Sbeeh Yuser.
During the meeting, CCC and the Iraqi mission talked over forming an Egyptian-Iraqi joint business council to discuss means of enhancing trade, industry, and investment ties, accordingly boosting historic relations between Egypt and Iraq.
First Vice-Chairman of the CCC, Ali Shoukry asserted that Iraqi investors should make use of the investments opportunities currently available in the Egyptian market.
The official also emphasised on the importance of making mutual partnerships between Egyptian and Iraqi sides.
On other side, Head Yuser noted that this visit deepens the historical ties between Egypt and Iraq in addition to enhancing joint investments.
Yuser invited Egyptian firms to capture investment opportunities available in the Iraqi market.
Moreover, he emphasised on the importance of forming a joint business council encompassing important economic entities from two states to enhance mutual economic ties and boost Egypt-Iraq trade volume.
