Cairo Criminal Court adjourned on Saturday to 17 November the “pilots housing” corruption case in which former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq is accused, with 10 others, of embezzling public funds.
Shafiq is accused of seizing land that belonged to fish farms and illegally allocating it to the Pilots’ Association for Land Development, which he headed.
Shafiq, a former air force commander, left Egypt after losing last year’s presidential elections to the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi.
