CBE to Raise EGP6.5 T-Bills on Thursday

On behalf of the Egyptian Finance Ministry, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer tomorrow Thursday 182- and 364-day treasury bills worth EGP6.5 billion.

Throughout its official website, the CBE stated that the first offering;182 -day t-bills is at value of EGP2.5 billion, whereas the second offering; the 364-day t-bills amounts to EGP4 billion.

The Egyptian government is aiming to offer EGP203 billion treasury bills and bonds within the third quarter of the current year against EGP206.5 billion in the previous year.
