Center for Economic & Financial Research &Studies (CEFRS) in cooperation with Social Fund for Development (SFD) and African Development Bank will hold on Monday a workshop in Faculty of Economics and Political Science to discuss the study of developing the database to evaluate the performance of the small and medium entrepreneurs on the national level.
The workshop is aiming at recognizing the economic indicators to evaluate the performance of the small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs), and also the framework of database necessary for this evaluation. It also will discuss the results of the field study implemented on three governorates in Egypt to know the contributions of these projects to the economic growth as well as the exports.
Dr Hala Al Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, will handle discussion in the workshop, in addition to Ghada Wally, General Secretary of the Social Fund for Development, and Mr Septime Martin, Resident Representative of the African Development Bank. The workshop will review the study of Dr Alia Al Mahdy, Professor of Economics, and Dr Manal Metwally, Head of CEFRS, in addition to Ayman Hamaky, Professor of Economics at Ain Shams University, and Tamer El Mehey, Chairman of Entrust Development and Management Consultants.
