Utility company Centrica PLC said Monday it has entered into a new five-year supply agreement with Qatargas for the purchase of up to 2 million tones per annum of liquefied natural gas.
The new contract will start in January 2019, following expiry of Centrica’s existing contract with Qatargas at the end of December 2018, the company said.
Shares at 0805 GMT up 1.1 pence, or 0.47%, at 237 pence.
