China mulls equal treatment in free trade zones

China will provide foreign financial institutions with equal treatment to domestic ones in offering new financial services in select free trade zones, the central bank announced on Wednesday.

The country will also assist in the transfer of funds for foreign investments in regions such as Beijing and Shanghai, according to guidelines published jointly by five government agencies.
