China’s youth jobless rate falls 14.7% in April
China’s survey-based jobless rate for 16-24 year-olds, excluding excluding college students, improved slightly in April, dropping to 14.7 per cent from 15.3 per cent in March, Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing a data released by the National Statistics Bureau (NBS).
Last week, Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang said the country would strive to promote employment of college graduates to stabilise youth employment.
