Commercial Bank Gets Go-Ahead For Alternatifbank Deal

Further to the announcement on 18 March 2013, Commercial Bank of Qatar has received regulatory approval from the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency for the acquisition of a 70.84 per cent shareholding in Alternatifbank from Anadolu Endustri Holding.

“Hereafter, subject to the approval of the Capital Markets Board, the transactions related to the share transfer will be conducted as legally required and announced to public when completed,” said a bourse filing.
