The Chamber of Information Technology has signed cooperation’s protocol with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah, with the aim of organizing two exhibitions for Egyptian small-and-medium-sized enterprises and their counterparts in these countries.
Eng. Hesham Sanad, Chairman of the Chamber, stated that the first exhibition will take place from 21 to 22 October in Abu Dhabi, adding that the second one will be launched in Jeddah bynext November.
Moreover, the Chamber is currently seeking to conclude a protocol of cooperation with the chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh to hold a fair there next December.
On the other hand, Eng. Hossam Al-Samad, Vice Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Information Technology, pointed out that this meeting is considered the first step of establishing cooperation with Chambers of Arab Countries. He added that the aim of this meeting is to allow companies of the two countries to carry out transactions, given that this is part of the Chamber’s plan to promote exports.
Al-Samad added that the Chamber is looking forward to working with the rest of the chambers in the Federation of Egyptian Industries, including the medical and tourism chambers. Moreover, it is also working on building rapport with Civil Society Organizations, such as “Etisal”.
