A New Lawsuit Against Morsi Over Sacking Tantawi, Anan

Dr Mohamed Abdel Aal has filed a lawsuit before the Administrative Judiciary Court of the State Council; calling for returning a verdict on the decision of President Mohamed Morsi, issued in August 12th. The decision concerns canceling the complementary constitutional declaration which issued last June, and announcing the retirement of the Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi and the Chief of Staff Samy Anan. It also concern appointing General Abdel Fatah El Sisi as a minister of defense, General Sedky Sobhy, head of the Armed Forces.

The lawsuit said that Morsi’s decision of canceling the complementary constitutional declaration means removing him from president post. Canceling the constitutional declaration annuls his oath as Egypt’s president before the Supreme Constitutional court, so his decisions became void, consequently his decision should be canceled, because every day passes is a loss for the Egyptian people, as his post became illegal and unconstitutional.
