Delta’s Direct Motor Insurance Premiums Hit EGP 14.6 Mln In Q1

Delta Insurance Company’s motor insurance sector achieved direct premiums of EGP 14.6 million in Q1 of FY 2012/2013, said Ibrahim Labib, head of motor insurance sector at the company.

The motor insurance benefits reached about EGP 11.98 million excluding the expenses and commissions at the end of last September.

The motor insurance sector still suffers from the current unrest as the car theft rate continues to rise because of the security vacuum in Egypt.

It is worth noting that Delta Insurance Company targets to achieve EGP 66 million in supplemental motor insurance premiums by the end of the current fiscal year.
