Dollar crosses 111 roubles in major surge

The dollar exchange rate soared nearly 6 per cent on Monday afternoon, surpassing 111 roubles, according to ICE data on Investing.com. As of 12:29 Moscow time, the dollar rose by 5.96 per cent, reaching 111.751 roubles.

Meanwhile, the euro experienced a slight decline, falling 0.78 per cent to 109.305 roubles. The fluctuations come amid heightened volatility in currency markets as investors closely monitor global economic developments.
