The Italian government will inject EGP 55 million to be invested in the Egyptian market through Green Trade project, which works in producing and exporting crops of vegetables and fruit to the European market.
Ismail El Farmouy, the agriculture affairs adviser in the Italian embassy to Cairo, told Amwal Al Ghad that the project works on improving a number of crops that Egypt largely exports to the European market, such as pepper, tomato, strawberry, grapes, melon and cantaloupe.
