On the sideline of Edu-Egypt’s fourth job fair, the Minister confirmed that the current stage will witness an increase in the percentage of investments in the outsourcing and call center sector, which would, in turn, enhance the Ministry’s contribution to the national income. He further pointed out that the export of information technology is considered one of the most important sectors that influence the national income rates.

He explained that exporting information technology can be manifested in several fields including call center, software, and administrative and accounting services. He also noted that some countries such as India and Philippines rely on the BPO industry as one of the most contributing sectors to the national income.

He stressed on the importance of giving special attention to the BPO industry, looking forward to achieving the international volume of growth in that sector, as in Philippines in which the sector provides 400 job opportunities. He also expressed his hope that the call center field would significantly impact the national income.
