Egyptian Takaful Property and Liability Insurance (EGTAK) has renewed an insurance coverage agreement with mobile operator Orange Egypt, sources with knowledge told Amwal Al Ghad on Monday.
According to the agreement, Orange Egypt’s insurance policy is a one-year term, with total sum insured of nearly 20 billion Egyptian pounds ($1.3 billion), the sources added.
The policy will cover Orange Egypt’s assets, premises, and networks against damages from fire, burglary, natural disasters, and explosions, the sources further said.
It will also include political violence coverage against risks of terrorism and sabotage in addition to car insurance for the company’s fleet of vehicles, they stated.
