The Egyptian Takaful Property and Liability Insurance (EGTAK) has won the state-run South Cairo and Giza Mills and Bakeries’ insurance policy tender for the third year in a row.
EGTAK will cover the company’s fixed and current assets, with total sum insured of around 320 million Egyptian pounds ($18 million), sources with knowledge of the policy tender told Amwal Al Ghad on Wednesday.
The policy includes insurance coverage for the company’s assets and property against damages from fire, burglary, and other basic insurance areas, the sources added.
It also covers employee dishonesty, cash transfers, and inland transport for the company’s products. In addition, the policy provides supplemental auto insurance coverage, the sources said.
