Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) closed in red notes for the second consecutive day on Monday, with the main index, EGX30 plunging by 6.34 per cent, to 29,091.29 points.
The small to mid-size enterprises’ index, EGX70 dived by 7.85 per cent, to 6,284.57 points.
The index, EGX100 index sank by 7.62 per cent, to 9,023.1 points.
The total market cap reached 1,905,059,802,551 Egyptian pounds.
Egyptians were net sellers with 2,155,207,515 Egyptian pounds. Meanwhile, Arabs and non-Arabs foreigners transactions were mainly buying with a total of 1,189,468,855 Egyptian pounds, and 965,738,661 Egyptian pounds, respectively.

The shares of Dice Sport & Casual Wear (DSCW.CA) rose by 7.06 per cent, to close at the price of 1.425 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Arab Pharmaceuticals (ADCI.CA) climbed by 3.51 per cent, to trade at the price of 87.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Egyptians for Housing Development & Reconstruction (EHDR.CA) jumped by 0.94 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.430 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers on Monday
The shares of El Ezz Porcelain (Gemma) (ECAP.CA) fell by 19.07 per cent, to close at 18.210 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Rights Issue Of El Obour Real Estate Investment-3 (OBRI.CA) declined by 18.22 per cent, to close at 0.700 Egyptian pounds a share.
The shares of Nasr Company for Civil Works (NCCW.CA) dropped by 17.98 per cent, to close at the price of 4.150 Egyptian pounds a share.
