EGX loses 19.5bn Egyptian pounds in June
The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) lost about 19.5 billion pounds throughout June.
The market capital hit 910.8 billion pounds, compared with 930.3 billion pounds reported last month, recording a decline of 2.1 percent.
According to the bourse monthly report, all indices went down collectively.
The EGX 30 benchmark index went down 0.4 percent reaching 16,349 points.
The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) dropped 4.5 percent, standing at 805 points.
The all-embracing EGX 100 index decreased by 3.56 percent, recording 2,062 points.
