EGX up L.E2 Billion in Mid-Trading, EGX30 surges 0.8%

During the mid-day trading session, EGX has managed to gain L.E2 billion, thus the capital market has recorded L.E394.194 billion.

The main index, EGX 30, has recorded a boom of 0.8% to reach 5471.73p. EGX20 has increased by 0.32% to reach 6492.48p.

Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 has risen by 0.11% to reach 531.68p. Price index EGX100 has surged by 0.38% to reach 891.90p.

The market has recorded turnovers of L.E407.846 million through a volume of trading amounted to 102.353 million shares for 20.041 thousand transactions.

This was after trading in 170 listed securities; 86 down and 72 up while 12 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptian investors have made up purchasing deals seizing 78.56% of the total market recording L.E31.180 million as the difference amount between their purchases and sales deals.

Arab investors have made up sales deals seizing 7.88% of the total market recording L.E163.716 million as the difference amount between their sales and purchases deals.

Elsewhere, foreign investors were responsible for the sales deals seizing 13.55% of the total market as the difference amount between their sales and purchase deals worth L.E31.344 million.
