Egypt Allocates 183.500 Feddans for $370mn Sugar Plant Project

Egypt will offer state-owned lands in Minya governorate on a usufruct basis for white sugar factory project, with estimated investments worth US$370 million.

The Egyptian cabinet approved on Tuesday to allocate 183.492 feddans on a usufruct basis for a sugar beet plantation.

The project is set to create more than 250.000 direct and indirect job opportunities.
