Egypt ambassador to U.S. welcomes IMF/World Bank event delegates

Egyptian ambassador to Washington Yasser Reda hosts on Friday a gala dinner at the embassy in honour of the Egyptian delegation participating in the IMF/World Bank annual spring meetings.

The Egyptian delegation, which includes high-profile government and banking officials besides media figures to cover the spring meetings.

It includes Egyptian central bank governor Tarek Amer and his deputies Lubna Helal and Ramy Abu Naga in addition to Minister of Finance Mohamed Maiet and his deputies, Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr.

Amer takes part in several key sessions in the meetings this year and is due to meet with IMF and World Bank officials to review Egypt’s economic reform programme and progress in the Egyptian banking system.
