Trade exchange between Egypt and Belarus grew by 43.5% during the first nine months of 2019 registering $107.5 million, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.
The trade exchange has recorded $75 million over the same months a year earlier, Amr Nassar added.
Agriculture products, medicines, textiles, ready-made clothing were among the key exports to Belarus, while Egypt imported iron and steel, machinery, and fertilisers from the Eastern European country, Nassar noted.
He added that his country is interested in enhancing cooperation with the Belarus side in many domains atop of which comes technology transfer.
He also said that Egypt and Belarus have close economic ties that pave the way for the establishment of joint industrial projects that enhance trade relations between the two countries to distinct levels.
