Deputy Head of the General Authority for Supply Commodities Mamdouh Abdel Fattah that affiliated to Egyptian Supply and Internal Trade Ministry announced that it will be bought 175 thousand Russian and French wheat estimated at EGP306 million cost to ship in the period ranging from next 11-20 November.
In statements on Saturday, Abdel Fattah asserted that it has purchased 120 thousand French tonnes and 55 thousand Russian tonnes with US$245.25 per tonnes, noting that Strategic reserve of wheat in within safe limits sufficient till next February.
Wheat will be imported through global stocks and the auction will send to the most quality and least expensive offers.
Moreover, Abdel Fattah added that all the imported wheat will submit to accurate checks in shipping ports from global revise companies.
