Egypt c.bank auctions EGP 55b in t-bills

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is offering a total of 55 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Thursday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance. The CBE offering will feature two auctions:

182-Day T-bills: Worth 30 billion pounds, maturing on February 25, 2025.
364-Day T-bills: Worth 25 billion pounds, maturing on August 26, 2025.

Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to one year. They are considered a relatively safe investment option.
