Egypt c.bank Governor Tarek Amer to chair World Bank, IMF annual meetings in October

Central Bank of Egypt Governor Tarek Amer will chair the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund‘s (IMF) annual meetings, taking place in October, the WBG announced on Thursday.

Amer is also set to deliver the opening speech for the meetings and will chair the meetings of the board of governors of the World Bank, the IMF, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
