Egypt completes key infrastructure works in Shams El-Hekma under Ras El-Hekma plan: minister

Egypt’s Minister of Housing Sherif El-Sherbiny announced on Wednesday the completion of electricity and lighting works across the alternative housing areas in the Shams El-Hekma zone, a key component of the New Ras El-Hekma City development project.

According to a ministry statement, all technical tests have been finalised to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards, paving the way for improved infrastructure and a safer, more integrated living environment for future residents.

El-Sherbiny directed officials to address any outstanding observations swiftly and to maintain the highest quality and safety standards across all stages of project implementation. He emphasised the government’s commitment to accelerating urban development and expanding homeownership opportunities nationwide, in line with directives from Egypt’s political leadership.
