Egypt’s Minister of Supply, Sherif Farouk, confirmed the availability of a safe stock of various essential goods, with reserves sufficient for several months, in light of recent regional developments. This came on Saturday during a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly to review the status of strategic food stock balances.
Minister Farouk highlighted ongoing efforts to supply goods to markets and monitor prices in coordination with relevant authorities. He stressed that these measures ensure proper regulation for citizens and prevent monopolistic practices or unjustified price increases, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
