Egypt connects 572,000 homes to natural gas in FY2024/25
Egypt’s ministry of petroleum said it connected natural gas to about 572,000 homes during the 2024/25 fiscal year, raising the total number of households served since the programme began to roughly 15.5 million.
The ministry added in a Cabinet statement that around 47,500 vehicles were converted to run on natural gas, while 34 refuelling stations and 17 vehicle conversion centres were established across the country’s governorates.
