Egypt Customs Approves Protesters Demands

Ahmed Ismail, head of the Independent Trade Union for customs’ workers, said the meeting with the chairman of Egypt Customs resulted in issuing decisions achieve some of the workers’ demands. These decisions represent in retiring the over aged appointees in the social funds and clubs, and forming a committee of the trade union members to carry out the decisions of the chairman.

He assured that the workers ended their protests and returned to work after issuing the decisions of Egypt Customs chairman.

Alaa Al Din Mousad, on his side, said these decisions are for the interest of the workers and employees; they are also trying to resolve most of the problems that the employees face in the remote places; such as Sallum,  Nuweiba and Sinai.
