Egypt establishes field hospital in Sheikh Zuweid to receive Gaza injured
Egypt announced it will establish a field hospital in Sinai’s Sheikh Zuweid to receive those wounded in Gaza, local press reported on Tuesday.
The hospital is fully equipped and ready to provide all care needed to the innocent Palestinian civilians injured in the Israeli aggression.
The Sheikh Zuweid hospital will be established in a joint effort between the North Sinai Governorate and the Health Directorate in the city of Sheikh Zuweid.
It aims to provide medical care to injured Palestinians upon their arrival in Egyptian territory.
The hospital will hold up to 300 beds, with the potential for expansion as needed.
It also has a selection of medical teams specialising in various disciplines.
The ambulance and health sectors in the Egyptian city are placed on high alert to receive and treat the injured.
