Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) received on Tuesday a lowest offer worth $205.90 a tonne for 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat in a tender, according to traders.
The offer was presented by Agro AST.
The state-run grains buyer GASC is seeking an unspecified quantity of wheat for shipment over September 25 to October 5.
GASC said it will pay for the purchase at sight. No purchase has yet been made but the tender results are expected later on Tuesday.
