Egypt: gold prices today – January 16
Gold prices today in Egypt increased marginally by around 1.02 Egyptian pounds ($0.064) per gram.
According to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad on Thursday, the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, reached around 693.72 pounds, while 18-carat gold hit 594.18 pounds.
The increase in local market was triggered by a rise in the prices of the yellow metal by around $3 to $1,555 per ounce.
