Egypt: gold prices today – March 23
Gold prices today in Egypt fell as global prices of the yellow metal plunged by $11 to $1,489 per ounce amid fears over the economic impact of the coronavirus.
According to data compiled by Amwal Al Ghad on Monday, the price of 21-carat gold, the most popular in the local market, dropped to around 655,43 Egyptian pounds ($41.6), while 18-carat gold inched lower to 561.79 pounds.
