Egypt industry: Govt. plans to boost leather industry

The Egyptian government will unveil an ambitious plan to solidify the country’s position as a leading hub for leather tanning and manufacturing, said Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir on Sunday. A key component of the anticipated plan is the upcoming announcement about the availability of various-sized warehouses and workshops in Roubiki Leather City, designed to enhance the country’s manufacturing capabilities.

This initiative aims to leverage Egypt’s skilled labour force and competitive leather products, positioning the country as a prominent player in the global leather industry.
