Egypt has signed Thursday three grants worth C$30.6 million (US$23.5 million) with Canada to finance technical education, food security, and small and medium-sized projects.
Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, who is currently taking part in the International Economic Forum of the Americas (IEFA) in Montreal, has signed the grant agreements with her Canadian counterpart Minister Marie- claude Bibeau.
IEFA is an important forum brings together world leaders and senior government representatives to discuss global economic challenges.
Under the rubric ‘Shaping a New Era of Prosperity’, the event is running between June 13 and 16.
