Egypt’s investments in Sudan hit $3 billion: Sudanese minister

Egypt’s current investments in Sudan are estimated at US$ 3 billion represented in various vital sectors, said Sudanese Minister of Investment Mudathir Abdul-Ghani on Tuesday.

He added during the Egyptian Sudanese Investment Forum, that the Egyptian investments in Sudan are mostly in the agricultural sector.

Under the auspices of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, Egypt East Africa Business Council is organizing the Egyptian Sudanese Investment Forum on December 15. The event aims at tackling the promising investment opportunities in Sudan.

The minister added that his country is keen on strengthening the bilateral relations with Egypt during the upcoming phase to increase the investments volume.
