Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Public Enterprise Minister Khaled Badawi headed on Saturday to Dubai to participate in the Dubai Sugar conference, taking place from February 3-6, a statement from the Investment Ministry said.
The event brings together a big number of investors and companies working in the sugar industry globally.
Egypt’s ministers will speak during the opening session of the conference, where they will talk about the government’s economic reform program and efforts to improve the investment climate.
The will also refer to the most important laws that have been issued recently and helped in improving the business climate.
Nasr is further expected to meet a number of investors on the sidelines of the conference, according to the statement. Dubai Sugar conference is a considered a premier event for the global sugar industry, which brings together top-level decision makers and key players in the sugar industry.
The conference provides a platform where producers, refiners, importers, traders, consumers, financial institutions, brokers, analysts, shipping companies, and service providers can interact.
