Egypt launches new expat housing phase to strengthen diaspora ties
Egypt announces 785 housing units for expats under Your Home in Egypt Initiative
Egypt’s ministry of housing said Thursday it would offer 785 luxury housing units in the New Administrative Capital and coastal cities as part of the second phase of the Your Home in Egypt Initiative for Egyptians living abroad.
Applications will open on Saturday, 18 October, and remain available through 23 October via the initiative’s official website, the ministry said in a statement.
The new units are located in four new cities — the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein, New Mansoura, and Marina Alamein.
The initiative is part of the government’s efforts to strengthen engagement with the Egyptian diaspora and meet rising demand for high-quality housing in new urban communities.
In its first phase, the housing initiative attracted strong demand from expatriates seeking investment and residential opportunities in the country’s new cities.
