Egypt, Lebanon sign natural gas supply deal

Egypt has signed on Wednesday a strategic agreement to supply natural gas to Lebanon, offering much-needed relief to the country’s ongoing energy crisis.

The deal, finalised on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025), highlights Egypt’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s stability.

Described as more strategic than commercial, the move is designed to support Lebanon’s stability and achieve mutual interests.
