Egypt’s Town Gas, Siemens sign cooperation protocol to boost energy solutions

The Egyptian Company for Natural Gas Distribution to Cities – Town Gas has signed a cooperation protocol on Wednesday with Germany’s Siemens Industries to enhance energy solutions and strengthen technical capabilities in the country’s gas sector.

Signed on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2025), the partnership aims to introduce innovative solutions for the energy sector, leveraging the expertise and logistical capabilities of both companies. It will also provide essential technical support for joint projects, particularly in control panels for low- and medium-voltage stations and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA).

Yassin Mohamed, executive managing director of  the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), has witnessed the signing ceremony.

Siemens delegates expressed its enthusiasm for participating in EGYPES 2025, highlighting the event’s role in supporting Egypt’s natural gas industry and fostering strategic collaborations.
