Egypt’s non-oil exports rose five percent to $1.905 billion in June from $1.81 last year, the General Organization For Export and Import Control (GOEIC) said on Tuesday.
Forty industrial and food commodities went up by 66 percent of the total non-oil exports to $1.256 billion last June, a GOEIC statement added.
It put at $916 million the value of Egypt’s exports of 20 industrial commodities last month.
Egypt’s exports of 20 foodstuffs amounted to some $340 million in June. These included fresh and dried grapes, citrus fruits, and onions, along with flour, sugar, legumes, frozen vegetables, and potatoes.
