Egypt on track to execute drinking water, wastewater stations in Qalyubia
Egypt is in process to execute ten drinking water and wastewater stations in Qalyubia governorate, said Minister of Housing Assem El-Gazzar on Sunday.
Three water stations with a capacity of about 217,000 cubic metres per day as well as seven wastewater stations are being implemented in Qalyubia, at costs worth 513 million Egyptian pounds ($31.3 million) and 223 million pounds respectively, according to Mubasher.
In addition, two water stations with a total capacity of about 103,000 cubic metres per day and seven wastewater projects have been carried out, at costs of 235 million pounds and 234 million pounds respectively, El-Gazzar added.
